How do I buy Artful Offerings patterns?  You can buy our patterns online seamlessly through our online retail alliance partner Homespun Hearth® {http://www.homespunhearth.com}.   In addition, you can contact any of the shops listed on our “Where To Buy” web site page or locate a local retailer {sewing, quilting or craft shop} in your area.   At Artful Offerings™, we do not sell direct to retail customers but currently, only to distributors and shop owners as wholesale.  For customers outside of the United States – Homespun Hearth carries the entire line of Artful Offerings’ patterns and ships globally.  Artful Offerings is a design studio that currently only sells wholesale to shop owners {online and storefront} and distributors.   At present, we do not have a retail store or retail vendor license.  We have developed complementary relationships with our customers who own retail shops and we support their businesses. 

May I buy finished versions of Artful Offerings’ designs on Ebay or any other web site?  Actually, no.  If you know of anyone doing this, they are in essence purchasing illegal or "pirated" goods.  The manufacture of such items is illegal under International copyright law.  No vendor, large or small, has negotiated a manufacturing license with Artful Offerings.   So if you find finished designs on Ebay or any other web site for sale, please do not purchase them.   We would appreciate a note from you if you should hear of any or find such sites.  If people use Artful Offerings patterns to make into finished goods, that essentially removes Artful Offerings from our potential recurring sales. 

May I purchase the designs and other items already made up?  At the present time, no.  Unfortunately, at this time we do not have qualified vendors to produce large quantities of our designs.  This is something that we are looking into and considering for the future.

May I purchase the patterns to make projects to sell?  At the present time no.  However, we are carefully considering negotiation of appropriate licensing fees and arrangements for qualified vendors that can demonstrate strict adherence to quality production standards.  Unfortunately, we are aware of situations involving designers being contacted by angry consumers who purchased “unauthorized” goods that were poorly constructed from the designer’s pattern.  We hope to preclude this type of scenario. 

May the patterns be made for gifts?  Yes.  Artful Offerings’ patterns are specifically designed for customers to experience the joys of creating and giving.

Does Artful Offerings sell kits?  Not directly, however, our alliance partners Homespun Hearth  and All Sewn Up™ {retail}, as well as Kipp’s Kits {wholesale} make kits available for many of our patterns.  In addition, some shop owners are creating kits for Artful Offerings patterns.

May Artful Offerings’ patterns be made into samples for my store to help sell the patterns?  Absolutely.  We understand how effective seeing a sample can be.  Customers experience tremendous excitement and inspiration when they see a well made sample.

May I make kits that include Artful Offerings patterns?  Yes.  We understand that this can be convenient for the retail customer and a great cross-merchandising technique, especially if you also make a sample for your customers to see.  More and more, our wholesale shops are using Artful Offerings’ designs to prepare kits for their customers who request them.

Does Artful Offerings do trunk shows?  Not at this time.
