Springtime Folly Shadow Box

Springtime Folly Shadow Box: Add a burst of color to any room in your home or office by displaying a single daisy ornament in a shadow box! Quilt a piece of brightly colored fabric for the background and quilt a coordinating fabric for the frame. The baby rick rack that is attached to the frame enables the ornament to be hung inside the box. If desired, add a whimsical label to the bottom of the frame. Please click the "Free Patterns" button on the Artful Offerings website to download 3 labels "Vibrant Daisy", "Springtime Folly" & Ralph Waldo Emerson's quote: "Earth Laughs In Flowers". Print labels out on heavy card stock or printable fabric and glue or stitch the label to the bottom of the quilted frame. This idea is guaranteed to "keep spirits bright" all year long!!!

Vibrant Daisy Pops

Vibrant Daisy Pops: Plant a clay pot with an explosion of colorful daisy pops! To make a Daisy Pop you will need some daisy ornaments. Make sure to leave a small opening in the bottom of each ornament. For this project the leaves are separate from the ornament. Take a piece of green rick rack and cinch the center of the leaves. To plant your daisy pops, start by covering a clay pot with black and white fabrics and adhere the fabrics to the clay pot using spray adhesive. Or paint the clay pot to your liking. Put dry floral foam inside the clay pot and top the foam with brightly colored paper grass. Making stems for your daisy pops is as simple as painting some dowels black. After they dry, insert them up into the opening of a daisy ornaments. Hot glue the leaves to the dowels just below each daisy. Arrange the daisy pops in the clay pot by sticking them securely into the foam.

Daisy Chain Valance

Daisy Chain Valance: How fun is this idea?! Completed daisy ornaments will enhance your Springtime windows! A black double rod was used to hang these ornaments in front of a cheerfully bright curtain.

Reversible Tree Skirt AS Table Toppers

Table Topper: Talk about versatile!! Use your reversible tree skirt as a table topper! Place some silk flowers in a fun planter (We used a watering can and a fabric covered clay pot) and in a snap you have a lovely table decoration. Whether dressing up a Spring feather tree or brightening up a table top, this reversible tree skirt will add lots of fun and color to your home decor.

Vintage-Look Ornaments

Vintage-Look Ornaments: These remind me of the beautiful vintage-look glass ornaments on the market today. Make several of these quick and easy ornaments to give as gifts to family, friends and favorite teacher's! These unique ornaments are perfect for Springtime and Christmastime gift-giving or "Just Because". The ornament on the left features a small amount of crystal clear glitter-twinklets that was applied using fabric glue. For added texture, dimension and sparkle, both ornaments have vintage-look faceted buttons attached to the daisy centers.

Gift Boxes & Fabric Ribbon

Gift Box & Fabric Ribbon: To complete the gift-giving presentation, place a single daisy ornament inside a whimsical take-out gift box that has been filled with brightly colored tissue paper or paper grass. Then wrap the gift box up with a cheery double-sided fabric bow. The take-out gift box on the left had black polka dots. Karina added 3/4" white dot stickers to the black take-out box.
