Vintage  Potting  Shed Sign & Border

Pattern NumberS: 2004011 thru 2004016 {six Pattern set}

Winner of the Husqvarna Viking Creative Challenge 2004 second place award!  This six block quilt pattern is easy and fun to make using a variety of embellishment techniques.  Each block was specifically designed to be completed quickly, in about 3 hours.  The terra-cotta pots are pockets for placing your choice of silk flowers that can be changed out seasonally or on a whim!  In addition you will be creating dragonflies, a nest with eggs, some pansies, a birdhouse, a bluebird and a fancy watering can.  In month five you will make your garden tools and the sixth month finds you building a potting shed in which to place all of your treasured blocks.  This versatile pattern enables you to make the complete Vintage Potting Shed art quilt, {six patterns} or simply add a border to one or more blocks to make a pillow or a smaller wall quilt.
